FAQ

What type of vessels are in your fleet?
At THINKYacht, we offer three different boats tailored to different experiences:

  • 1968 Luxury Yacht – For those who want an upscale experience, our 46 foot Chris Craft Roamer yacht is a "Venue from a New Perspective" docked in the beautiful Menomonee River Valley. Dockside amenities we can accommodate up to 30 guests.

  • 2023 Pontoon Boat – Perfect for casual three-hour Milwaukee river cruising. This 23 foot Sylvan Pontoon will accommodate up to 12 guests or with live music for up to eight guests.

  • 1971 Checkmate - This high-performance, lightweight sport boat will accommodate two to three guests for lake cruises, watch fireworks, or just chill and listen to the music at Summerfest.

What’s Included in a THINKYacht experience?

  • Door to Dock Transportation - We’ll pick you up from home and return you after your event. (There may be a surcharge for locations beyond 35 miles)

  • Certified Captain – No experience needed, just enjoy the ride.

  • Fuel Costs – Included in the price, so no surprise charges.

  • Safety Equipment – Life jackets and emergency gear provided.

  • Food / Beverage – From two of Milwaukee’s finest riverfront restaurants, Blue Bat or Bridgewater. Cost for restaurant service is additional based on menu items you select.

  • Live Music– We can provide live music (at cost).

How Do You Prepare for a THINKYacht Exeperiance?
To make the most of your adventure, here’s what you should bring:

  • Sunscreen, Hats, and Sunglasses – Protect yourself from the sun.

  • Valid ID – Required for verification purposes.

  • Boat-Friendly Shoes – Non-marking shoes recommended.

Can You Bring Your Own Food and Alcohol Onboard?
Although we do offer food and beverage options from our amazing restaurant partners, you can bring your own food and alcoholic beverages, but we request that you avoid glass bottles and red wine to keep the boat clean and safe. Please drink responsibly to ensure a fun and safe trip for everyone.

What If the Weather is Bad?
At THINKYacht, we monitor weather conditions closely. If the weather is unsafe, we will notify you and offer the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. We do not cancel trips based on forecasts alone—decisions are made based on real-time conditions on the day of your rental. In the case of live music on the pontoon, we will move over to the indoor area of our yacht if schedule allows.

How far in advance should I book?
It’s best to book at least two-three weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays, as slots fill up quickly. For the pontoon music river cruise we would recommend three to four weeks so we can assure we can contract a musician that suits your preference.

Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations due to unsafe weather are fully refunded or rescheduled.

Do the boats have restrooms?
Our yacht does have restrooms, but for the pontoon we recommend docking at nearby facilities if needed.
